Spanish Seafood and Wine Specialist in a Casual LES Setting

Cervos Restaurant Lower East Side

About Cervos

& why it made the Carpe City list

  • One of our Favorites for Quality Casual Seafood and Natural Spanish Wines.
  • Cervos serves up simple but well-executed Mediterranean seafood dishes.
  • This sister restaurant of Hart’s in Brooklyn emphasizes natural and biodynamic wines from Spain & Portugal but has a full bar and nice list of Spanish-leaning cocktails (think gin, vermouth, sherry).
  • Cervos is the type of neighborhood place where you can pop in the bar and grab a drink and a light bite, or stay and have a full meal.  (The overall space is on the smaller side, so we don’t recommend groups bigger than six.)
  • You’ll find a spacious and convivial bar area up front and proper tables in the back if you want something a bit quieter, but we prefer the festive vibe in the bar area.
  • The place is generally bustling and crowded, so reservations are recommended, but they do hold a portion of the tables for walk-ins.
  • Some dishes are on the smaller side, so this is a great place to try quite a few things and share.
  • The fresh and seasonal menu changes regularly, so we can’t share any favorites except for the wine, so … get the wine.
