FOOD – Mediterranean cuisine consisting of mostly Italian and Spanish seasonal fare. Most is sourced locally the rest from Italy.
ATMOSPHERE – Located on a fabulous cobblestone Bond Street in NOHO, Il Buco gives you the feeling like you are stepping into a warm, happy, rustic Italian country house. There are cosy wooden tables as well as a bar with seating up stairs and a unique seated wine cellar below.
WHO/WHAT IT IS GOOD FOR – Date nights, group parties especially down in the cellar, birthdays, wine lovers
BEVERAGE SITUATION – Award-winning wine list heavy on Italian, full bar
SUGGESTED EATS/DRINKS – The seasonal menu changes often but you can’t go wrong with the ceviche if they have it. The virgin olive oil tasting is fun. The fresh pasta, risotto and fish dishes have always been delish and the steak is definitely worth an order.
