Italian Small Plates and Wine Bar with a Good Neighborhood Vibe

About Il Posto Accanto

& why it made the Carpe City list

  • A neighborhood favorite with a casual atmosphere and quality pasta & vino
  • We have been fans of Il Posto for years, with its chill under-the-radar, local neighborhood vibe.
  • It’s cozy but they will still work to accommodate a group.
  • In addition to dinner, it’s great spot for an afternoon drink and small bite, especially on a nice day when they open up the front of the restaurant.
  • It’s a solid choice for both date night and solo dining at the bar.
  • Get: The housemade pasta dishes are great, in particular the Scialatielli, Fettuccini, and the Oxtail Tortelloni. The meatballs are also a standout.
