& why it made the Carpe City list

FOOD – These sizable sandwiches are made fresh with love using locally sourced charcuterie and imported Italian ingredients. The menu consists of sandwiches and salads named after Regina‘s family members, like Uncle Chubby and Big Anthony.
ATMOSPHERE – It’s a tiny grocery. You’ll find two little tables inside and a bench outside if you want to enjoy your sandwich while taking in the neighborhood color.
WHO/WHAT IT IS GOOD FOR – Great for takeout, delivery, and catering, or a pit stop when exploring art galleries, museums or other LES daytime activities. Regina‘s closes in the early evening.
BEVERAGE SITUATION – Pellegrino drinks, water and soda
SUGGESTED EATS/DRINKS – Uncle Jimmy and Uncle John are our two favorites. Be sure to ask about daily sandwich specials too.
