& why it made the Carpe City list

Does that apartment building look familiar? (You know it’s something because there are like 20 million people on the corner taking pictures)
- The building on Bedford and Grove with rounded windows is the façade you see on Friends even though the show filmed in a Burbank studio.
And, as all New Yorkers know, the apartments featured were a bit “lavish.”
- A struggling actor like Joey would likely have an apartment just large enough to fit a duck and a Lay-Z-Boy. Ahhh city living.
The building is home to The Little Owl, a quaint and fantastic restaurant. It is tough to get a reservation, but definitely worth the effort.
